Top Up Warning

I topped up my account today with €50, which is the maximum possible. Not had any problem with this before.

However, after entering my PayPal details, the transaction appeared to go through. But then the top up page said to "try again" which I did. This second transaction also seemed to go through, again the top up page said try again. I checked my PayPal account and BOTH of the payments were successful. Then logged into game and saw that €100 of crystals had been added.

As I can't find a way to see how much is in my account on this website, it would seem the only way to find out if the top up has gone through is to log into game. I'm aware that topping up is possible while in the game but this would still take you through to the payment page with the same "try again" error.

I will be sending a ticket about this, it needs rectified urgently.

In the meantime, I would suggest people check their account, in game, before trying to top up again.

Is there no option to see your account total on the website, as gpotato had ? If there is I can't find it.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I've forwarded it to the support and they will be replying to your ticket shortly.
It does not seem to be a common problem though.

Have had a reply to my ticket. It has been forwarded to the billing team for investigation. I hope they get back to me.

I was also advised that it is planned to add the current account state to the portal. This is a good idea, just wonder how long it will take.

Just tried topping up again, with the same method. The message "try again" is STILL being displayed even though the transaction has gone through.
Please check to see if you have received a notification from PayPal that your transaction has been successful, BEFORE trying again.
Once you have received this notification, there is a delay of a couple of minutes before your top up will be added, using refresh.
I will send another ticket about this as it is a serious error and could cost people more than they expected. I will also ask for an update on the plans to add the current account state to the portal, which do not appear to have been implemented yet.
